| If you're looking for something spectacular and very in at this time, then this beautiful abalone necklace is for you. It is large, and the big, big, necklaces practically fill the pages this month of a top fashion magazine. This unusual and in style necklace has a huge piece of abalone shell in the most wonderful colors of browns and tans that blend with the other rainbow colors of abalone. It changes shades with movement from darker to lighter. A hand carved butterfly and flower have been carved into the shell. The back is cream colored shell. The necklace attaches to the center piece on each side with incredible tiny shell beads, twisted in rope style, again in browns and tans. It has a gold tone filigree closure. Measurements: center shell piece 5 1/4 in.'s across, 2 3/4 in.'s vertical. The complete length is 29 in.'s. Excellent condition and probably from the 60's or 70's. Outrageous and outstanding. |
