A special Miriam Haskell long celluloid chain necklace. Necklace has tortoise colored large links, with a gold metal spring clasp and attached to that is the cartouche with the name Miriam Haskell. And most of the links on this necklace also have - Made in France - embossed on the links. They also have the name Brevete S.G.D.G. on some of the links.

| I believe this is probably an older piece, dating to the forties, when she started using plastics because of the war shortage and she was buying some of her materials from France, so this explains the links having Made In France. Necklace is 61 in.'s long and links are 1 in. long, 1/2 in. wide. This necklace is as light as a feather. Excellent vintage condition. |
