Beautiful old tie/scarf pin with lovely filigree work around a ruby or a garnet. Which it is I don't know but it has the cut of a real gem. No scratches on the stone. The pin has markings but very difficult to read, probably from normal wear. Art Nouveau period. It test 18 k gold. It is dainty and very feminine looking. Top of pin measures 11.11mm long 7.73mm widest. Excellent condition.
