Antique purse in black velvet with a white metal and celluloid frame. The velvet has been sewn onto the celluloid frame which has small holes to attach the material and thread. The celluloid is a pretty marbled deep green. The inside is a light brown fille like material, some fraying of the fabric by the frame closure at the bottom. A mirror is inside. Outside velvet has minor wear at the top of the frame. The purse is in really good condition considering the age which I figure is the early 1900's. Purse measures 6 in.'s across top of frame, 8 1/2 in.'s long and wider at the bottom at 9 1/2 in.'s across.
