Lovely old sash pin, oval shape with channel set emerald green glass and brilliants set completely around the pin. Stones are open backed and the sterling back is opened also to accommodate for the brilliance of these stones, every one is perfect. I feel sure this is silver although it is not marked because of age, it was quite tarnished and cleaned up beautifully. The inside and outside edges of this lovely pin have an etched motif that looks similar to a Greek key design. Pin on the closure protrudes out beyond the frame of the pin but is not a c clasp. Measures 1 1/2 in.'s across and nearly an inch in height. Excellent condition.
