Attached at the bottom is a pin guard with a bulb like bottom that is pulled to release it from the pin and then place the pin on the garment, then replaced for security. Pin is in a beautiful a-1 condition green velvet box with a mother of pearl closure. Name of the jeweler is in the box. Pin and box both are in excellent condition. Pin measures 2 3/4 in. long and nearly 1/2 in. wide.
