A striking mother of pearl pendant with the mother of pearl layered over black. I don't know what the black material is, it was tested for bakelite and it was not that. Could possible be plastic or possible jet. Pendant is nicely designed and the one side has a gold color at the bottom, just the way the mother of pearl happened to be. The pendant is an older piece, the chain isn't, but the loop on the pendant reads sterling. Very good condition and measures 1 3/4 in. long and 3/4 in. wide at the bottom.
