This vintage portrait brooch in porcelain is of a beautiful young woman with her hair piled high on her head. Very detailed and hand painted. The outer edge is gold finished and brooch is prong set. Has a c clasp that has been soldered on one side. The gold back is also raised a little where it was soldered, (a small separation between gold back and porcelain). This brooch looks gold filled but there are no markings, which would be normal for that period. Measures 1 3/4 in.'s long 1 1/4 in.'s across. A very nice old vintage piece.
